• The index.php page on my admin home page simply does not load.

Every other page in the admin area loads fine, but the index.php page (“Dashboard” in the admin control panel) will not.

    What’s up? Thanks.

  • That should no happen all by itself. The index.php file was probably corrupted at some point. Have you tried re-installing your index.php file? And when you say it does not load, do you mean that you just get a blank white page or what?

I’ve re-downloaded and re-uploaded the files at least twice. I’m not sure what the problem is. I’m also running the latest version.

I mean that when I try to access the page in Firefox, I don’t receive any errors; the page simply does not load. I don’t receive a “page cannot be found” or “connection timed out” error either.

Is it possible my config file is misconfigured? Could that cause a problem? I’ve checked it and it seems to be correct, though.

Any help out there? I’ve tried reuploading and redownloading the index.php file and it’s still not working.

When you say not loading… what do you see?
It happens to me that after displaying the top menu items the rest is just blank, and blank, and blank ?? very slow because of the feeds. I usually don’t wait for it, just click where I want to go.

I am having problems similar to moshu’s.

    Any ideas anymore?

There are some “simplified” dashbord templates out there – made by other impatient users ??
If you search for it you’ll probably find them.

In my case it turned out to be a technical problem with PHP at my hosting company. There is a bug in fopen that they are trying to fix–that’s what I was told.
