Admin Gravatar Not Displaying On Dashboard Nor Author Posts

Hello,

The gravatar for one of our admins does not show on the wordpress dashboard https://screencast.com/t/b8KIFBI0 inspite of the fact that he set up his gravatar account in Gravatar.com. https://screencast.com/t/vfPVtgvs7ETx

In settings->discussion he has selected show Gravatar.

Both I and a third admin seem to have no problem with our gravatar showing up in the admin dashboard as seen here: https://screencast.com/t/QNir5UbzSN and here: https://screencast.com/t/JdSkBcY8sx

Any advice to what may be causing the problem.
