admin goes to blank page after post update?

A plugin could be interfering with the post process. Deactivate all plugins and then reactive each one individually until you find the cause.

You’re welcome! Since plugins by design alter or enhance WP functionality, they can be disastrous when done wrong. I always look to my plugins as the first possible cause when trouble arrises on my blogs.
