Admin gets redirected on restricted pages

    The site is used for students that pay to view specific courses.

    Students do not have any problems viewing their specific courses, however when we log in as admin to edit and view the pages we keep getting redirected back to the login page even though ‘Admin’ is checked as a user type for that page.

    The only way I can clear this problem is to change ‘What happens when users without access try to view the post?’ from ‘Redirect user’ to ‘Show access restricted message’.

    This seems like a strange bug. Is there anything I can do other than go through hundreds of pages and update them?

    Hello @ruthvant

    The content restriction does not apply to Admin users, admin will still be able to view content even if the content is restricted. I suggest you do a plugins/theme conflict test on your site. Please follow this article for information related to plugins/theme conflict tests.
