• I recently logged into WP on a client site and could not see any of the admin functions (Appearance, Settings, Users, Security). This was not the case a few months back, but for some reason I now cannot see the admin tabs. Fortunately I use InfiniteWP and can remotely update the site, with the same user. I updated WP from 3.9.2 to 4.0 via IWP, but after doing so and logging in, I still cannot see the admin functions.

Any ideas on how to resolve the problem? Thanks.

    try:
    – deactivating ALL plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the unedited default Twenty Fourteen Theme for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue.

Thanks Tara, but I had to restore the site to several months back in order to resolve the problem. All updates have been applied to the site to bring it back to current and all is better now. I assume someone got into the site and changed the admin view, although I still am not sure how they accomplished it.
