Admin email is not sent – password emails ok – ?

Hi,

I am having a strange problem:

I am running 2 sites under CentOS, and when someone registers, they get their password emails sent immediately. However, the admin does not get any emails when a comment is posted or a new user registered, despite it being switched on in the settings.

Any idea what could be wrong?
