Admin Editing UM Custom Profiles

    Hi,

    I have custom form using UM; as a user & Admin I am able to view the UM-Profile with the custom fields filled during the user’s registration;

    however, I would like to
    1) Hide some fields from the users that are only visible to admin
    2) Allow user to update certain fields
    3) Allow admin to update all the fields

    The first 2 are not that important – however the third option – I can view the User’s profile but not edit custom fields example: Phone, Skype, Country, etc…

    What am i doing wrong?
    Also – would it be possible to edit these in the backend?

    Hi @dayknight,

    You can achieve this by editing field privacy settings on the field edit dialog.
    Admins by default can edit other users fields.

    Unfortunately, It’s not possible to edit custom Ultimate member fields on the WordPress backend. We will see if it is possible to add this option in the future.
