admin doesnt retain sort order

  • we have been using this plugin for some time, but it recently stopped working as is being reported by many other users. the issue is that the sort order in the drag and drop interface will work (in the admin area), but when you hit save, it leaves them out of order in the admin area. the front end will show the correct order, but to make an adjustment i have to reorder every single item again. this is like 40-50 products i have to reorder just to adjust one. the changes dont stick in the backend of the site after its saved. but surprisingly it works on the front end of the site. please advise…

    i dont know if a screenshot would do it any justice. lets say there are 10 products. i order the products. it works. lets say i want to swap item 10 to item 1 spot. well…all of the products in the admin are completely out of order, so i would have to do all 10 at once. so every time, i have to order every single product and when the page refreshes after i hit save, it LOOKS like they are out of order, but they do show correctly on the front end. so imagine doing 40 products – you can see how this gets old quick. i can provide you login and we could do a screenshare at some point if youd like.

    I will be updating the plugin soon as I am trying to create the same issue you are facing but it is not happening for me.
    Also I am busy with schedule which is making delay in getting back on the support.
