    Hi,

I just activated the UO LD Toolkit, followed the instructions step by step, then I enabled the Manual User Verification. Suddenly, I was kicked out of the site, and when I wanted to re-enter, using the login form, it said you are not verified, though I am Admin.

    Pleas HELP.

On the page with the steps (https://www.uncannyowl.com/knowledge-base/front-end-login/) is an IMPORTANT section that explains what to do if you lock yourself out. Once you’re back in, please make sure you’re using the latest version of the plugin.

Update, I renamed the toolkit folder using FTP, logged in site, and disabled Manual Verification, STILL when I log out, I can’t log in anymore (invalid username/password)

How can I enable Admin with the toolkit?
    Thanks

Should I register with my own site?

Disable the plugin by FTP. Sign in as an admin. Reactivate the plugin. Disable the Front End Login module completely. Now sign out and in again. If you still can’t sign in, it’s not related to our plugin. (The second message is suspicious since the first time it said the account needed to be verified; there could be something else happening.)

    OK I did.
After disabling the Front End Login module, I singed out and singed in SUCCESSFULLY using wordpress login.

Please now make sure the plugin is updated. Then try with the Front End Login module again. You can also verify the user while you’re signed in (from the profile page).

I just installed the plugin a few hours ago.

Deleted the plugin and reinstalled, followed the instructions, but no luck. Not the admin nor a subscriber is able to login using the front end module (Oops! invalid username/password)

Sorry, we haven’t had other users report this issue. I’m not sure what about a site might cause this though, and with this support we unfortunately aren’t able to look directly at the site. Assuming you did validate the users from their profile pages, maybe it’s best to disable our Front End Login module and use an alternative.

I Use BPS security which adds a hover text to wordpress login. Could this be the issue?

Also HOW can I VALIDATE the users from their profile pages? I dont see the option anywhere!

Yes, BPS could certainly be causing a conflict. You should definitely test with other plugins disabled.

Validation instructions are in the Knowledge Base article. Turn Manual Verification on, there’s a checkbox added to user profiles. Look for “Verify User”.

OK Made it work ?? It was a conflict with BPS, I renamed BPS security and it is working. I am working with BPS support deal with this, HOWEVER,

Can you help me with this one issue please, I do appreciate your help and time,

I made one page called Profile, and added this code:[ld_profile]
Thats All I did, is it enough?

    More importantly,
IS THIS where I should validate users?

    Thanks for your time

I’ll mark this as resolved. We really can’t provide additional support in this channel. We don’t use [ld_profile]; we use the dashboard shortcode in our Pro plugin on all sites, and if profile management is needed, we use Gravity Forms, WooCommerce if it’s installed, or another tool.

We almost never use user validation on our sites, but we added it in case some users need it. You do need to perform validations from profile pages.
