Admin can’t edit his own profile

I have an unusual problem at https://ravenswood.altman.com: I can edit everyone’s profile in our community…except my own! I can make simple edits to existing data, but I am encountering two mysterious issues:

1. There is a particular field that will not populate for me. Entitled Memories, I am able to edit everyone else’s Memories field, but any changes I make to my own are ignored entirely.

2. I have profile names established as firstname-lastname, So the profile of Tim Williams is located at https://ravenswood.altman.com/user/tim-williams/. However, if I try to go to my own profile, the URL resolves to https://ravenswood.altman.com/user/rick-altman-1/. If I manually enter my profile URL as it should be, it automatically switches to the “-1” variant.

I wonder if these two issues are linked. I would be grateful for any thoughts that anyone might have.
