Admin Cannot Access Posts to Edit

  • Though one of my writers is set as an administrator, she cannot access posts to edit unless the author is set to her name (as if she only has author level access.) I’ve tried updating her settings, and I will change to Editor settings next, to see if this makes any difference. But it is as though she only has author access, though she’s marked as an admin. Any advice, or clues as to why this might be happening? I searched the forum but couldn’t find anything to help troubleshoot this issue.

    do you have any customized user permissions plugins active that might be creating problem?

    have you checked in the database to see what the user level is set to?

    can you try to create a new user to see if same thing happens?
