Admin Bar – Upload Image not displaying

    Hi, have just upgraded to v2 and great new look but have a couple of problems.

    1. In the admin bar where you can add the site name with icon the upload image button does not appear to be working. I have inserted the url of my icon image clicked the upload image and there is a blank display. When I click on the empty display section it takes you to a new page where it displays the icon on its own!! This function worked fine in the previous version.

    2. For some reason despite having checked the remove updates option in the admin bar it is still showing WordPress 3.5.1 is available! Please update now.

    3. Also the previous version had some info notes attached to the options which were very helpful and seem to be missing in the upgrade. For anyone who has not used this fantastic plugin before it could be confusing.

    I was publishing version 2.1 and your #2 prompted the version 2.1.1 ??

    As for #1, the system changed a bit. You now have to upload an image using the Upload image button. The URL field is in case you want to set a custom destination to the site name link. If left empty, the default is used (link to site or to admin, depending where you are).

    #3, there’s a button in the plugin screen sidebar: Hide all help tabs that show/hide the plugin’s help texts.

    But the documentation/help can improve quite a bit, I’ll try to focus on this for the next release.

    Hi,
    sorry I don’t think I made myself clear. Pressing the upload button actually did nothing which is why I inserted the url link and then pressed the upload button.

    There’s a small modification in a external library in version 2.2 that may or may not solve this for you.

    I had a similar problem, MTT upload button not working.
    It was a conflict with a custom plugin that enables the old upload method.

    Can you disable all other plugins and see if the problem persists?
    Swapping the theme to TwentyEleven is also worth a try.
    Otherwise, send me a list with the plugins you’re using and I’ll try to track it down.

    just to let you know that following issues when trying to update previously that all is now fantastic in the recent release.

    Thank you for all the hard work in this plugin and many new features. Best plugin for actually doing what it says and living up to more than hoped for.

    Ps Glad you changed the name too – mentioned this in a previous post as I stumbled along MTT completely by accident and Admin Tweaks is much better.
