Admin bar showing randomly, Don’t cache page for logged users checked

  • Admin bar showing randomly on the front end of the site. Disappears when I clear cache.

    I have “Don’t cache page for logged users” checked in page cache general settings.

    Any idea why it’s still showing the admin bar?

  • Try checking the site in a private tab – in Safari, File –> New Private Window or in Chrome File –> New Incognito Window. What happens then?

    wtl thanks for your reply.
    I think it was showing because I purged the cache from the top admin bar(performance) when I was on a page on the site instead of from the back end of wordpress. I’ll try just purging from the backend now, see if it makes a difference
