Hi guys, I’ve only just started implementing your plugin for a client, but it looks great so far, I’ll be sure to leave a good review.

Quick question though – I’ve set the admin bar setting to ‘hide for all users except admins’, as we don’t want regular members to see the admin bar. This works fine.

The problem is, this settings seems to override the admin user specific setting? I personally always turn the admin bar off in the standard WP profile screen. Other admins keep theirs on.

The upshot from setting your ‘hide for all users except admins’ setting checked is that I’m now seeing the admin bar, regardless of my setting in my profile. I could override this for everyone with a custom snippet to hide the admin bar, but that’s no good for the other admins who want it enabled.

Hope that makes sense? Is there anyway to make your setting affect non-admins only, and use the profile setting for admins?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @crdunst,

Frist of all, thank you for your detailed message!

We also agree with this and we will make this change in one of our future updates to Paid Member Subscriptions (we release a new update every two weeks, so the fix will come in one of these future updates).

    Best regards,
