    Purge Cache button under SG Optimizer -> Caching -> Manual Dynamic Cache Purge is also clearing Cloudflare cache – as expected, when SG Optimizer has been provided the CF account credentials.

    But, the “Purge SG Cache” in the Admin Bar is NOT purging cloudflare as expected.

    and now I wonder if this issue is also related to the fact that I need to clear CF cache every single time after making edits to pages?

    Hello @iarovuo,

    Тhank you for the report.

    We will fix the button in order to purge Cloudflare cache as well.

    However for the page edits – if you have Auto Purge enabled, the Cloudflare cache should be cleared as well.

    Double-check if the automatic purge is enabled on the site, and if the post/page edit is still not clearing Cloudflare cache this can be caused by incorrect Cloudflare credentials set. You can deauthenticate and again enable the Cloudflare Full Page cache for the site.

    Best Regards,
    Elena

    Thanks for confirming the bug.

    Can you also please help to confirm where the “Auto Purge” is set? As it’s quite frustrating to keep flushing the caches, after every edit.

    You are most welcome, @iarovuo!

    As for the Auto Purge, make sure it is enabled from SiteGround Optimizer -> Cache -> Caching Settings -> Automatic Purge -> ON.

    It is flushing Cloudflare and Dynamic cache on every page/post edit on the site and many other events.

    Best Regards,
    Elena

    @iarovuo,

    Great topic. I wondered the same.

    @elenachavdarova,

    Since SG plans to update the functionality of the “Purge SG Cache” button, can you take a look at my suggestions for improving SG Optimizer’s Caching dashboard?

    It would be awesome if SG can incorporate the suggested changes. If incorporated, they will definitely help all SG customers.

    Thank you!
