I have a networked site with two separate WP blogs, which is running fine on 3.2.1. However when I added a third blog today, I found that the admin bar is missing on this blog only (both pages and dashboard).

I’ve checked the blog settings, and also confirmed that the header and footer files contain the wp_head and wp_footer methods respectively. I’ve also discovered that if one scrolls right down to the bottom of the dashboard, the admin links are present but unstyled, which suggests to me that the admin bar css file is not being included in the pages for this site.

This problem persists whichever theme I apply (including the latest 2011 theme).

  • This sounds like some other plugin maybe interfering with it. Try disabling them one by one or it could be a plugin in mu-plugins.

Seems to be a problem with aggressive caching in Firefox – I just tried the site on my laptop, and in Chrome on my desktop, and both are fine.

    Thanks for the suggestion, anyway!
