I’ve found the setting location for the admin bar, and it’s checked by default. If I check the second setting, it displays when I’m on the Admin pages. But it won’t display at all when I’ve viewing my blog. Is there something else that needs to be set? Does something need to be added to my theme to make it work?

    Thanks!

    I’ll email you

Hey, so logged in and the admin bar seems to be working fine, had a quick scratch around the funcitons.php, checked header and footer, and all looks good, and the admin bar is working…. let me know if its still not working for you, couldn’t see any settings that would restrict it for you either though.

drop me another mail if you’re still not having any luck.

try logging in under both accounts as I explained in my mail and compare the user settings.

yes, it worked under your sign-in so I took a look at your profile compared to my profile and the only difference I could find was that your profile had a name in the “name box” so I went back and put a name in my “name box” and voila!! IT WORKS! Thanks for helping me!!

Its a pleasure, sometimes its not any complicated code, but just a silly quirk that needs a fresh pair of eyes.

Of course it wouldn’t work at all without sorting out the footer as you did before.
