Admin-Bar Not Displaying Correct on Frontend

Hello,
I am using a purchased theme and the admin-bar is displaying strange, the black bar is running across the top but the text is falling below the black bar. It works fine in the back-end.
I have checked the footer file and it seems fine. I also changed to the default theme and it was fine, changed it back and still the same issue.
any thoughts?????
