    Hi!

What is the error you get when you try it?

SportsPress doesn’t have any functions to force that bar to be displayed so it should work fine.

    Kind Regards,

Hi, I don’t get an error as such. The situation is that I have sports press installed and I am using it to control our football website. We do not at these stage find enough additional extras in the sports press pro plugin to justify spending the $99. However I do need team managers to be able to add posts, club news etc and also edit match results and reports. This, I believe is achievable with the free version. What I need to achieve is when an admin member logs in to the website they will see the admin bar will all functions. When a subscriber logs in, they do not see the admin bar at all. No profile edit, etc. Just a website as any other. The function of them registering to the site is so that they will be able to receive the newsletters we distribute and also in the future I will increase there functions so that they can contribute to a page / blog on the site. A subscriber should just be able to read the website. I have tried many combinations of plugin’s to try and achieve this but with no success. It must be something that can be done. It is probably something I am doing incorrectly. Just reaching out for any assistance I can get. I have emailed sportspress in the past but was politely told that support by email was for pro users only. Thank you for your time. Hope you can help.

    Hi!

This is certainly possible, but SportsPress doesn’t have a feature for this. Any plugin should work for you, so if they aren’t working, I recommend you contacting the plugin authors to see what could be wrong there.

Another option is adding some custom code to hide that. Check this out: https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/remove-the-wordpress-admin-toolbar/?utm_expid=3606929-78.ZpdulKKETQ6NTaUGxBaTgQ.0&utm_referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com.br

You could improve this code a little bit more to check for the user role

    Kind Regards,
