    Hi,

I recently noticed that specific user roles can see all submenu items, and the plugin is not detecting some of the menu items (thus I can’t hide them).

User role Bookly Administrator has the following settings.

And here’s what the user with this UR sees (in addition there’s Bookly Cloud item in the menu that is not available in the Admin Menu settings).

Edit 1: if I disable the menu item icon, it applies and works correctly (icon doesn’t show).

Any ideas what could be done? I’ve tried to delete the plugin (and data) and reinstall it — no luck, I’ve tried the solution from this ticket — no luck.

Could you let me know in your next replies what are the plugins names and are those free plugins so that I could replicate this on my lab?

If those are 3rd party paid plugins could you follow the below guide:

@wpmudevsupport13 yes my plugin is free and the plugin is Hotel Booking Lite.
this are the options which Branda is showing
This are the options which are present in actual
I have made a user with role editor to help you out even more.
    Thank you
    stay safe.

@wizard71 hi, i got a solution for the same, i do not know if the support team will end up with the same or not, this problem might be caused due to the user role which you specified for. for example i was creating a panel for a client (with role editor), so with respect to the role, branda gives access to the menu option (submenu etc). So in order to over come this download this once installed change the capabilities of the editor to same as admin(YouTube reference) and then you will get all the submenu options (all the options will be visible)xD.
FYI: @wpmudevsupport13 is this fine ?
    Thank you
    stay safe.

    Hello there @harshgoyaa

This is totally correct, as Branda will only be able to list the available menu items of the current user in the first place. So it is maybe better to create a custom “admin” user role, first edit the menu items in Branda and after doing so, edit the actual capabilities of the user role. Keep in mind though that these capabilities can still affect the permissions of the user so double-check that he doesn’t end up in any admin pages that aren’t accessible (he will be getting a “You don’t have enough permission to access this page” message instead).

    Warm regards,
    Dimitris

@wpmudev-support6 well you guys took your time to explain the same.
    Anyway thanks
