    Hi I am using the module and configured it so that when a user account is created, the admin can manually approve this account. But then I get an error and the email is not send.

    This is the error:

    “The subject is required. You can get around this requirement if you use a template with a subject defined or if every personalization has a subject defined.”

    However when the users create an account they get an email with a verify link (so they themselves can verify their account), this email is being send and working correctly.

    After clicking this verify link they again get an email with the message that the account has been successfully activated.

    So all emails are being send but the manual admin approve email.

    What can I do to fix this ?

    @moshtafizur01 Thx for your answer,

    I have tried your solution but the issue still persists.

    I am working with sendgrid and Post SMTP and the other mails like forms etc are working.

    The Post SMTP log is showing that the email template is empty and there is no subject:

    From: KamadoBBQ <[email protected]>
    To: [email protected]
    Date: 2022-11-16 11:16:27
    Subject:
    Delivery-URI: https://api.sendgrid.com:443

    When I dheck

    Kind regards,

    Bart

    Hi @bartnelissenknutselboxen ,

    Can you please point me exactly what is the path for that option you have enabled so the admin can approve the account?

    Hi @karzin

    The path is -> /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-settings&tab=alg_wc_ev&section=admin

    at Verified column I have checked the option “Add verified column to the admin Users list” and also checked the option “Add links for manual email verification, unverification and email resend by admin”

    Kind regards,

    Hi @bartnelissenknutselboxen ,

    Try setting the option Email > WC email template as Email Verification plugin and let me know if it helps.

    If it doesn’t work, please try to send us screenshots from your General and Email sections

    Hi @bartnelissenknutselboxen , thanks for the info.

    Let me check if we are on the same page.

    When you are at the users page on admin, after you click on the “Verify” button, you get that error? That’s odd, as I realized we’re not sending any emails when the admin manually approves the user.

    Let me know if this is what you have tried or if you’re doing something else.

    Meanwhile, can you please try some email logging plugin like WP Mail Logging? Maybe we’ll be able to find out which email is triggering the error and what is the issue.

    @karzin

    Hmm strange then maybe the error must come from another email.

    Ah damn, I need an email to be send when the admin manually approves the user. How can I make this work with the plugin ?Do I copy module folder to my theme or add code to the plugin, or add a hook to functions.php ? And is there an example I could base my code on ?

    Kind regards,

    Bart

    Hi @bartnelissenknutselboxen ,

    I just released a new version (2.4.8) with a new option I created for you at:
    Email > Confirmation Email > Send confirmation email to the user manually verified by admin

    Please, update the plugin and let me know if it helps.

    Hi @bartnelissenknutselboxen,

    I hope you are doing well and safe!

    We haven’t heard from you in a while, I’ll mark this thread as resolved.

    Feel free to let us know if you have any additional questions or problems.

    Best Regards
