    I’m using the free version of User Registration v.1.8.4 and the option for “Admin approval after registration” is not working.

    These are my issues:

    1- When I create a new profile the success message it suppose to be “User registered. Wait until admin approves your registration.” but instead I have this one “User registered. Verify your email by clicking on the link sent to your email.”

    2- The new user should receive this template email “Awaiting Admin Approval” but I don’t get any email.

    3- In the users admin panel I see the new user with “Pending” status but when I put the mouse over the user the status is “Verify” and not “Approve” as should be.

    4- Also the “1 New User Registered” notification has a loop cause even if I verfy the user still showing up the notification.

    5- Finally, the new user never get the email template “Registration Approved Email” saying that the account is already Approve by the Admin. Instead after almost 10 minutes I receive this template “Email Confirmation” with the link to verify my account.

    I hope you can help me, I really like the plugin and I think its great for my purpose but I need to solve these problems.

    Hello, after 3 days waiting today I check that a support user is registered in my site. Please let met know asap if you need anything else and hope you have me an asnwer about my issues today. I really need to solve these inconvinience with the plugin.

    Sorry for the delayed response. It was due to the weekend that we could not get back to you on time.

    All the issues that you have listed are occurring because you have selected “Email Confirmation to Login” rather than “Admin Approval after registration” in the login option of the individual form settings. Please check your settings again and see what is selected.

    Hi,

    Thank you very much for your reply. How easy it was, I was so concentrated on the plugin settings that I’ve never imagine that I have to set the same configuration on the individual form.

    Anyhow, I’m still having the loop “1 New User Registered” in the User panel after approve/deny . And also I have a delay in the emails notifications, for example the Admin notification when new user is created reaches in my inbox soon but the users notifications about Status Pending, Waiting approval by the Admin, Reset Password and Admin Approval account takes too long to reache my inbox, I tested yesterday and I get the emails with more than 3 hours delay. Hope you can give me some advice about this. (Notice I’m using Ninja Forms, WP HTML Mail and Content Control plugins besides User Registration just in case you know if some off these plugins are making conflict)

    Hi @zarakikenpachi,

    Can you please attach a screenshot of the new user registered issue? In the latest version of the plugin, we have fixed this issue so it’s strange to hear that you are still facing it.

    Regarding the email delivery issue, since email deliveries are not controlled by our plugin, it’s hard to say anything but I guess it could be WP HTML Mail. I am not sure though. Try de-activating it and see if the emails arrive faster or not.
