@sarah-haruel thanks for reporting. However, I can not replicate the issue you’re seeing, both on an existing WP install, as well as on a fresh WP install with only ASE and Slideshow SE enabled.

Can you take a screenshot of the browser console (right-click on ASE admin page, and click on ‘Inspect’ in your browser, and click on the Console tab). Maybe there’s a JS error there that’s causing the issue. If there are JS errors, please upload the screenshot to a place like https://www.imagebam.com/ and share the link here.

Additionally, please also try disabling all other plugins but ASE and Slideshow SE, and check if the issue persists.

I disabled all other plugins and the issue only happens when Slideshow SE is activated.

    Thanks

@sarah-haruel thank you. It seems like you have jQuery deferred… is that something being set from your theme, or an mu-plugin?… that would explain the error on ASE as it depends on jQuery being loaded first. Otherwise, I’ll investigate further.

I dont believe we have any jQuery elements deferred.

@sarah-haruel hmm… can you manually install this unreleased version? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lqRI9TlzB6u8MEc51VmwKIAKqKl3Ft6D/view?usp=sharing (v5.2.6.1). If this fixes the issue, I’ll release it as v5.2.7.

@sarah-haruel I’ve included this possible fix in v5.2.7. Please update and test.

@sarah-haruel since I haven’t hear back from you in more than 3 weeks, I’m marking this thread ‘resolved’. Feel free to open a new thread if you still encounter the issue even after updating to the latest version.
