Hi! I face a problem regarding the admin tracking in this plugin. I have excluded the admin tracking but still it counts my visits and page views which creates a confusion in tracking the actual stats. Kindly prescribe how to totally exclude admin visits in this plugin.

    Thanks.

  • Hi There,

    Thanks for contacting us!

This is occurring because you have a duplicate tracker installed on the site that isn’t excluding the visits:

    https://cloud.supportally.com/1c32b2e23226

Removing the duplicate will allow EM to exclude admin visits.

Typically, the other instance of the tracking code is hiding in one of the following places:

    • Your theme options or settings.
    • Your theme header.php.
    • Another plugin like “Insert Headers and Footers.”
    • A competitor plugin to EM.

Please let me know if you have further questions.

    Cheers,

    -Jay

Is this global site tag related to google ads? the adsense? If so then, how can I exclude it? Kindly guide. If I remove it, will it not affect the data being sent to google adsense?
