admin-ajax.php loading time

    Hi, when testing my website with pingdom or gtmetrix I see that the admin-ajax.php takes almost a full second of ‘wait’ time. So I installed the Heartbeat Control plugin hoping the waiting time will be reduced. No luck. Any ideas? Thanks!

    My blog doesn’t even load that file so I don’t know. Perhaps I don’t use an option or feature that requires it to be loaded.

    Looks like that file only loads for admins or logged in users. I don’t see that loading on my end. I also re-ran your site through gtmetrix and it doesn’t show that loading either. Exactly where are you seeing this?
