• Need some help please… I’m having major resource usage issues. My host (Inmotion Hosting) advised that the admin-ajax.php file is the culprit and provided some instructions (disable heartbeat + cron job, remove resource hungry plugins and implement caching) on how to fix it.

I did everything they recommended but I’m still having issues. My current setup now:

    – Plugins: WordPress SEO (tried Meta Tag Adder and no plugin), Ultimate Social Deux (tried Simple Social Buttons Plus), WP Rocket (tried W3, Super and WP Fastest Cache Premium), and Heartbeat Control

    – Theme: Milk-It from Theme Forest (tried Genesis Framework and Thesis 2.0)

    – CDN: Using both MaxCDN and CloudFlare (tried no CDN, Cloudflare Only and MaxCDN only)

    – Sql database – has the original 11 tables and is cleaner than a monkey’s butt (no options and transients left over from old plugins/themes)

You name it, I’ve done it. I’ve spent the past month trying to figure it out. Can anyone help me with this?

    Thank you so much

Below are the numbers from today from the usage stats:
    1 134139 23.43% 55753 1.54% /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

I’m currently using the latest version of WordPress

Remove the social share sharing plugin and replace your current caching plugin with WP Fastest Cache plugin (free). That should fix it.
