    Hi,

Unfortunately with automated tools like this, they can be misleading in the information/score they provide.

The AJAX request you’re seeing here doesn’t affect the user experience, or slow down the page loading at all. AJAX is always run in the background and doesn’t affect the loading of the page.

But tools like this can’t understand this. They just test how long it takes and assume that the request is affecting the time to final page load. It doesn’t.

Our next release, 11.2 due out this week will help ensure gtmetrix scores aren’t affected any longer… but you should know your site isn’t actually affected anyway, so any impact on your score doesn’t reflect an impact on your site loading performance.

    Thanks.

    No problem at all!

May I ask, if you’re happy with Shield so far, would you consider leaving us a review? It’d be a huge help, but I understand if you’re not comfortable doing so.

    Cheers,
    Paul.
