admin-ajax looong load time

    hi.. i have a giant problem. I have an “old” webshop where i cannot update wordpress or woocommerce but lately when i am logged in as admin, back and front end are really slow.

    some web page analyst pages showed me that admin-ajax.php is causing that problem
    response time is over 30sec :/

    any ideas? ( i cannot update wordpress or woocommerce doe to business agreement with client)
