• Certain functions on the dashboard no longer work (as admin). It appears that the admin account is missing some functionality. None of the other postings solve my problem.

    As part of my troubleshooting, I removed all plugins and only put back 2 of theme (jetpack and promotions slider). I switched to the twenty11 theme. I also did a manual re-install of WordPress as directed (wp-content, wp-includes, wp-admin). No help.

    Examples of features not working:

    * When I try to active the Weaver II theme, I get the message:

    You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

    * On the Pages tab, I can only edit the Private pages (not the public ones). If I create a new page, it won’t let me publish it. I can only “submit for review”.

    * Cannot install new plugins

    * Missing the Widgets menu bar on the dashboard

    I verified that this is correct (from other posts):
    a:1:{s:13:”administrator”;s:1:”1″;}

    Here is the admin account info from SQL:

    At this point I believe the admin account has something wrong in SQL. But exactly what? And how to fix? Our website isn’t working properly because of this. It’s been down for three days now.

    Thanks!

    Problem solved! Praise the Lord! I will post details later (to help others in the future). Still fixing some things up on the website.
