Admin access lost after copying databases
-
My friend has WP installed on the main domain and 2 separate installs on 2 subdomains.
As I need to downgrade the hosting plan and reduce the number of databases, I thought I would copy all databases into one, giving each WP a separate table prefix.
After doing that, my friend can log in as admin in but there is nothing he can do and no admin menu is displayed, only log out option. When trying to set admin password through Plesk, the message is displayed “Administrator account not found for this WordPress website. Please create administrator account manually in WordPress”
I tried resetting the admin password via MyPHPAdmin as well as creating a new admin user but it didn’t work.
The same happens for the subdomain sites. Any ideas anyone how to fix this?
