Adjusting text box length is now changing the size?

In selection you need to click in lock button to ajusting text box without change the size.

Hi @emilrueh thanks for getting in touch. This is related to this change which was shipped with the new 1.17.0 update.

As @rodrigoflausino noted above you can unlock the aspect ratio for your text as seen here. This should then allow you to do what you have requested.

@emilrueh Regarding your second question, it sounds like you want media to stop snapping when adding it to your story. Is that correct? If so you should be able to stop media from snapping by holding the command key instead of the Ctrl key.

Can you confirm if holding the command key resolves this problem for you or are you still getting the snapping?

Yea am on windows, so my ‘command’ is the windows key which does work, thanks, but opens every time it releases my windows menu so an unacceptable solution sadly.

The other question related to ctrl+h and browser history was not answered yet either, thank you ??

With regards to the Ctrl+H are you expecting this to do the same as with the command key for stopping the snapping? Or do you expect that to do something else?

I expect Ctrl+H to do what is advertised. Aligning the selection to the document center.

We are also discussing the snapping issue and I will provide an update on this when I have one. Thanks for bringing these to our attention and feel free to follow the issue for updates.
