For the variation option, you can set whatever you’d like as default in this section under the Variations tab of the individual product’s settings:

I’m not sure what you’re currently using to set the quantity to 200 though. Are you using a plugin, or custom code?

Right now all my products are currently set to SIMPLE PRODUCT…

Yeah I am unsure why it is at 200 qty and not 100..

<13mm is the lowest size so that makes sense, a lot of things in here the original dev won’t tell me about.

I can’t switch to variable product can I?

Looks like your add-on options may be created with the WooCommerce Custom Product Addons (Free): by Acowebs – 2.3.4 plugin.

I’d recommend re-creating the product as a variable product with “size” as the attribute following the instructions here:

https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/variable-product/

Then you can select the default size option you’d like to display.

Not sure about the quantity issue though. Do you know where you set 200 for the quantity? It must be a plugin or custom code adding that functionality, as the WooCommerce plugin itself doesn’t provide that.

You could duplicate the product, then change the duplicate to a “variable” product and add in the “Size” as an attribute with the different options, but then try keeping any of the other options like this “as is”:

It’s best to test out a new product configuration for an existing product first by setting up a “duplicate” product to see if it meets your needs. That way you aren’t messing with the original product.

Can you send a link to view the product? If the quantity is currently set at 200, then it’s either a plugin or custom code being added to force that quantity change.

I’d check the Code Snippets plugin, as that would be my guess as to where the code is coming from.

I hope the suggestions we passed along to you in the previous reply guided you in the right direction. We’re fairly certain that it was custom code that forced the quantity to 200. We did some testing locally, and could not replicate it. Looking at your theme’s functions.php file or your Code Snippets plugin should help you find the code that adds this, so that you can remove it.

We haven’t heard from you in a while, so we’re marking this thread as Resolved for now.
