Adjusting Featured Image Display Height in Header

  • To adjust height, play with lines 89 & 102 of the theme’s /inc/custom-header.php file. Decreasing the CSS padding value (by increasing the denominator on the aforementioned lines of code) will decrease the header image’s display height.

    Call me green, but I’m struggling.

    I”ve downloaded the theme and edited the said lines to a higher denominator

    padding: <?php echo ( $header->height / 2 / 24 ); ?>em 0;

    from 16-24 and when i save, rename and compress and then upload i see no difference whatsoever…

    Am I going about this the wrong way?
