Adjusting different breadcrumbs

    Hello,
    after installation and initial configuration, we saw that the breadcrumbs can be configured with this plugin. Since we have different views on breadcrumbs, we would like to change this for our webshop.
    After selecting the product category, the breadcrumb is displayed as desired:

    But after opening a product view, the category in which the product is located, is not displayed in the breadcrumb:

    I selected the breadcrumbs content type, but nothing happened:

    How can we configure this to the view we want?

    Thanks for reaching out regarding your breadcrumbs. I can replicate what you described. Please provide some more information:

    • Can you let me know how you implemented the Yoast SEO breadcrumbs?
    • A full screenshot of what you have in WordPress > Yoast SEO > Settings > Advanced > Breadcrumbs
    • A full screenshot of what you have in WordPress > Settings >Permalinks.
    • If you temporarily deactivate the Yoast SEO plugin, does the breadcrumb path show properly like Home / Produkte / Telekommunikation / Headset / kabelgebunden / Klinkenstecker / Epos ADAPT 135 II ?

    Hello Maybellyne,
    I had to search a little bit.
    The Breadcrumb I have troubles with comes from the theme

    Now at the Footer position is the breadcrumb from YOAST.

    How is it possible to exchange the theme breadcrumb with the YOAST breadcrumb?

    Hello Johannes,

    Can you please speak with your theme developer on how to disable the breadcrumbs output from the theme?

    Then you can follow this guide to implement the Yoast SEO breadcrumbs properly.

    Hello,
    the theme developer will not help in case of my breadcrumb issue.
    I have found another solution based on this link (german language):
