    Hi Tobias,

I would greatly appreciate your help with the problem I am encountering.

I have added 3 tables to the stated web page. I have 2 issues on the second table in reference to the following screenshot when using Firefox.

    1) I would like to remove the vertical scroll arrows displayed in grey as shown by red arrow 1. Please let me know I how I can do that.

    2) When I refresh the page, each time the cell content pointed by red arrow 2 initially looks like it is going to display the contents in a single row. However, when page refresh is complete, the cell content wraps in 2 rows. This continues to happen even after I increase the cell width in the design mode and re-save the table. How do I correct this?

Interestingly, none of the above issues are seen in the last table on this page. It would be most helpful if you could clarify why this table is free of the above issues.

    Thanks much,
    Melissa

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

Unfortunately, I’m not sure what’s causing this here. I recommend to not use the FixedColumns Extension then, and to uncheck the “Use DataTables” checkbox for these tables.
Instead, you could maybe use the scroll mode of the TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/responsive-tables/ to make it scrollable.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hello Tobias,

Thanks for the suggestions. They work much better. I have disabled “Use DataTables” and “Fixing the first column” features and instead, set responsive=scroll. The tables work without any issues.

    Best regards,
    Melissa
