Adjust site to tablet

  • Hi, I am new to wordpress and have been trying to adjust a theme to my needs, and am quite satisfied so far.

    Now I came across a problem when I view the site on my tablet, I get a useless bar on the right side, and I would like to remove it. I have used firebug to look at the code on my tablet, but I can’t find this back when I look on my ftp server to adjust some files and see what happens. How can I find this code, or even better how can I remove the bar?
