• Dear Pixel Caffeine Team,

    When using the WooCommerce shortcode [add-to-cart id=””], clicking on the resulting “Add to Cart” button does not set the “value” parameter (value set to NaN): {"value":"NaN","currency":"USD","content_name":"","content_type":"product", ... }

In Facebook Business Manager I therefore received this error message: “One or more of your “AddToCart” events have invalid event value parameters. The event may be missing a conversion value parameter or a currency parameter. The value parameter may be poorly formatted.”

Adding shortcodes, especially the official shortcodes by WooCommerce, is quite common and it would be great if this issue could be fixed in the next version of Pixel Caffeine.

    Keep up the good work!

    Best regards,

    Stefan

    Hi,

thank you very much for reporting this and sorry for the bug.
Just checked and I’ll fix it in the next version of the plugin, that will be released soon, I hope within next week.

    Thank you again.

Thanks again for your help! Knowing that this plugin is well-supported, makes me really confident in using it!

May I suggest that you also verify against this WooCommerce shortcode: [product_page id=”99″] It adds a product’s image gallery, short description, quantity selector and add-to-cart button to a page.

    Best regards,

    Stefan

    Hi,

thank you for report the bug also for [product_page]. It will be fixed in next version as well.

Meanwhile, you can download the plugin from the following link where I already fixed: https://www.dropbox.com/s/piyatihn6nqq665/pixel-caffeine.2.0.1.add-to-cart.zip?dl=1

Let me know if it solves.

    Hi,

Please excuse this noob question, but how do I actually apply the bug fix from this download? WordPress won’t let me upload it as a new plugin because the folder name already exists.

    Best regards,

    Stefan

You may just delete the plugin and upload the package downloaded from the link I passed you previously.
    Don’t worry, you won’t lose anything! ??

OK, I will do that. Again, thanks for your help!

    You’re welcome! ??

    Hi @antoscarface,

Can I also just wait until the next plugin update for the problem to be resolved?

    Thank you very much

Yes, I’ll release the new version early next week!

Hi, I’m having the same issue. I updated the plugin to yesterday’s release but my pixel parameters are still having an empty value:

    {"value":"NaN","currency":"ARS","content_name":"","content_type":"product","content_ids":"[\"MNE92LE\/A\"]","userAgent":"Mozilla\/5.0 (iPad; CPU OS 10_3_3 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit\/603.3.8 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version\/10.0 Mobile\/14G60 Safari\/602.1","language":"es-ES"}

Was the fix in that version?

    Thanks.

I just checked. The value is added, but unfortunately the price set is the (original/higher) sales price and the (actual/discounted) discounted price:

    CUSTOM PARAMETERS SENT
    content_type: product
    referrer: Not Set
    content_ids: [“389475”]
    value: 109.0059
    language: en-US
    content_name: Not Set
    currency: USD
    userAgent: Show

The original price is USD 109, the actual price is USD 59.

    Hi,

just fixed this bug and refreshed the packages on wp.org. Please, delete the plugin and reinstall it again as normal. It should download the refreshed 2.0.2 version with the fix to this thing.

    Let me know, thanks.

Thanks for this quick fix! If I delete the current version, will my setting for this plugin (custom conversion events etc.) be preserved?

    (@antoscarface)

    Hi,

yes, all settings will be preserved! ?? You can make a backup just to be sure (it’s always recommended), but anything should be maintained after re-install the plugin.
