Nothing in the new version really interests me honestly. The share count is kind of cool. But it’s a little big for my set up.

Hi Xberserker, I’m the lead engineer of the most recent version of the AddThis plugin.

We originally removed the ability to enter service codes in order to showcase our personalized services list which we have found increases sharing by about double. By having the list of services tailored to the users vs decided up by the site, your users see the services they actually use and thus are more likely to share.

We have heard your feedback though and have included the ability to list your services in a comma seperated list once again. Additionally, we have a few filters that allow you to completely customize the button. https://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=4N4Dzcck has an example plugin to change the bottom links to be Like, Tweet, Share counter followed by a digg button and a reddit button. https://www.addthis.com/blog/2011/02/03/addthis-for-wordpress-2-0-1-and-customizing-our-wordpress-plugin/ lists the three different filters.
