    Hi there,

could you please confirm that I am not missing something here?

Your plugin seems to add a link in the frontend that leads back to your page.
This is against the plugin guidelines.

Please make it optional or remove it completely.

    Thanks

    Hi Pixelative,

    thanks for the follow-up.

I am not using your plugin. It just came up in our support and since I am asked to recommend AMP plugins from time to time I installed it for a quick test.

I see a serious violation of the plugin guidelines and your users’ trust in a backlink that is enabled by default.

    Hi Thomas,

    Sure, no worries.

In regards to the footer text, it is there for demo purposes. We’re not violating the plugin guidelines. It can easily be removed by the users and is entirely optional so not sure why you feel we’re violating the plugin guidelines.

We are in no way tracking our users and are fully complying with the guidelines.

If there’s any specific guideline we’re missing, please let us know.

    Thanks

Please read the following excerpt from the guidelines

.. Developers are welcome and encouraged to include links to their own sites or social networks, as well as locally (within the plugin) including images to enhance that experience.

    Hope this was helpful.

    Thanks

I think, #11 is only for the backend.

    Please see #10:

Plugins may not embed external links or credits on the public site without explicitly asking the user’s permission.

    Thanks Thomas.

    Didn’t realize this.

Will remove it in the next update.
