Addresses duplicating under My Account

  • Hi,

    We are having an issue with the Address Book plugin, where the addresses duplicate under the saved addresses section under ‘My account’ after adding addresses to billing and shipping during checkout. This happens regardless of whether the billing and shipping addresses are the same or different. Can you assist us with the issue?

    I’m sorry cannot reproduce the issue. Could you please provide a detailed steps to reproduce the issue?

    Please make sure you are using the latest version of WordPress, WooCommerce and Fr Address Book For Woocommerce. Also, please try again using Twenty Twenty theme and all plugins disabled except WooCommerce and Fr Address Book For Woocommerce.

    If we provide you with access to our dev site, is it possible for you to connect to ours and spend an hour or two checking to see if it will work with our site? And if so, what would your rate be to do so?

    I’m sorry, currently I don’t have time to do that.

    I have tested the plugin but the address is not duplicated. This can be caused by a couple of reasons:

    1. I’m missing a step. So I need you to provide detailed steps to reproduce the issue.
    2. There is a conflict between this plugin with your theme or one of your plugins. In this case, you need to try using Twenty Twenty theme and all plugins disabled except WooCommerce and Fr Address Book For Woocommerce. If the issue disappears, activate your plugins and theme one by one and test again to find the conflicting plugin or theme.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your response.

    The steps followed are 1. add a new ship to address. 2. add a new billing address. 3. complete order/check out. So I don’t this is anything out of the ordinary.

    We’ll look for a plugin incompatibility then. Thanks for your help!
