An old street address is showing to the public (non logged in site visitors) on the subscription disclaimer at bottom of the page.

But when I am logged in as WP Admin, the address shown is correct.

Please advise how do I update the street address in the subscription disclaimer?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

It’s possible that there’s still some caching going on with the website as a whole. However, if you also only just recently updated the value from your Constant Contact account dashboard, it may not have sync’d up yet with a database option we keep in the WordPress install. I believe it’s set to refresh and check things either every hour, or potentially every day.

If it’s been longer than a day, then we’d need to check on some things.

What address value should it say? I can confirm which version I’m seeing.

Thank you for your reply and help. This is a longstanding issue not related to any recent changes and thus not a page caching issue:

The disclaimer says: (emphasis added to incorrect address):

By submitting this form, you are consenting to receive marketing emails from: NAMI Toledo, 2753 West Central Avenue, Toledo, OH, 43606 US, https://www.namitoledo.org. You can revoke your consent to receive emails at any time by using the SafeUnsubscribe? link, found at the bottom of every email. Emails are serviced by Constant Contact.

The address should say 4334 Secor Rd – Toledo, OH 43623 USA

Oddly enough, when I am logged in as admin It shows the right address. Also note, when my client logged in to their constant contact dash, it shows the right address. It is only wrong on front end for non logged in visitors.

It’s possible that you also have a setting in the admin area to provide “Alternative Disclaimer Text”.

Check out https://namitoledo.org/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=ctct_forms&page=ctct_options_settings_general at the very bottom.

There is nothing in the “Alternative Disclaimer Text.” When I did put something in there it did not overwrite the problem disclaimer with the wrong address. What else could it be?

Hmm. That setting should completely overtake that area below the form and replace the original text.

Can you visit the Support tab in our settings areal and check/save the one option listed there, this should review a debug log menu item. I’m wondering if there’s errors going on preventing successful updating of the contact information option we save.

I checked error logs but there was confidential information from submitted emails so I deleted the logs and tried to force the error again. Now the logs are blank.

FYI: The same form is loading the correct disclaimer on the contact us page.

Hmm, the important parts from emails should be getting obfuscated in the logs. For example you can’t get much out of ***@gmail.com though if it’s a dedicated domain, you would get at least that much.

Is it possible that the one on the frontpage is from a different source specifically in Elementor? I’m seeing a second form on the homepage but it’s hidden, and it had the correct address listed. I’m also not recognizing the markup for the form that is unfamiliar, and that’s the one with the wrong address still.

Did you ever find the source of this issue @lonndugan ?
