Addon plugin for comments

    How difficult would it be to build a plugin that could extend this one to also send push notifications for comments? I understand that OneSignal has determined this is beyond the scope of what they want to build, but their platform says unlimited and free, and they have an API, so… it should be possible, right?

    The way I see it, site admins could configure the addon one of 3 ways:

    1. Send all notifications to all subscribers. Should be pretty easy to build, but would very annoying for big sites.
    2. Send top-level notifications to authors. I feel like this, too, should be fairly easy to do, since Authors are known users.
    3. Option 2 and send notifications to commenters when someone replies to them. This one seems quite difficult to me. Is it possible?
