    Hi there – I just installed and tested the plugin an was facing a problem directly: What if somenbody adds the needed product to cart, then the “add-on-product” and then removes the baisc (needed) product!? I think he can pass to checkout with only the “add-on-product” and without the required basic product!? That’s a real issue… Is there a way to fix this? Maybe one of your paid plugins covers this? I would really be willing to pay for this feature.

    Thanks for reaching out!

    Let’s assume that to purchase Product A it is necessary to first add Product B to the cart. If you have added both products to the cart and then remove Product B, then:
    1. a notice similar to this one: https://cl.ly/9b9da44be2eb will show up and;
    2. the checkout page will display this message: https://cl.ly/e38216b01b0e.

    Is this not what you see?

    no I did not get this message on checkout page – but I think it was a conflict of some kind. I got it to work now! Thanks for your help!

    I am having the same issue.
    If a customer removes product A, he still can purchse product B and no notice is shown.

    Just sorted it out after reading another post in this forum ??
    If the dependent product is from X category and you made the dependency to be from X category, the above issue will happen.
    So or you will need to define the dependent product from another category or you will need to define those products as product dependency and not category dependency.
