I noticed only the primary/feature images syncing between Square & WooCommerce

Reviewing both Woo & Square’s API, this shouldn’t be an issue. Why are additional images not syncing?

Again, as outlined in a seperate thread many processes in this ‘sync’ plugin seem to cause a ton of double handling which is a massive waste of time for store owners

    Hello smgdarien,

Thank you for contacting Woo Support.

At this time, the WooCommerce Square plugin does not support syncing multiple images or gallery images from Square.

We value your feedback and it would be great to have you add your ideas as a feature request, which is where developers go to look for future plugin features and improvements.

I hope this clarifies your concern.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. ??

    Best regards.

I can see multiple requests for this feature since 2016 acculumating to over 100+ upvotes. 8 years and it still hasn’t been added. This is extremly slack on WooCommerce’s part

Adding another feature request to that graveyard of a list is pointless

We understand your frustration regarding the feature request.

We take all feature requests seriously and prioritize them based on various factors such as demand. While we understand it can be frustrating when a specific feature request has not been implemented, we assure you that no suggestion goes unnoticed.

We encourage you to keep upvoting the feature request and continue sharing your ideas and feedback.

    Thank you.

Over 500 people had to report their frustrations with Gift Cards not syncing over eight years before it became the only new feature unrelated to payments introduced to this plugin, based on what I’ve seen in the changelog over the past few years.

Prompting users to submit a feature request is a last-ditch effort when band-aid fixes aren’t a viable workaround for the customer. Take a look at the feature requests yourself; the only one implemented over the span of eight years was Gift Cards. By the time that was introduced, I’m sure 99% of the customer base had abandoned this plugin and Woo. I now have to pay Codeable to build a custom plugin purely because the “official” plugin lacks essential features. I use “official” lightly, as Square themselves even acknowledge how poorly developed this integration is and don’t take any accountability for its lack of functionality. I’d go so far as to say that not syncing additional images would mark this plugin as broken.

    Hi @smgdarien,

We truly understand your frustration and disappointment with the current state of the Square plugin.

Our dev team continuously works to improve our plugins and services based on user feedback. We understand that the process may seem slow, but please understand that each feature request undergoes a thorough evaluation process for feasibility, demand, and alignment with our product roadmap.

Your feedback is invaluable and we will ensure it is shared with our product development team.

    Thank you for your understanding.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
