additional field is not capture

Here is what you can try if the field is getting saved:
1) Fill in the Comments field
2) Fill or edit your email or phone number field
3) Refresh the page

Yes, I have both of the email field and the phone number field filled with correct format and i also have the additional field (order notes section) filled with text, but when I leave the checkout page and come back, the additional field is empty, only the info of the other fields are saved.

Not really sure if you tried previously suggested order:
1) Fill in the Comments field
2) Fill or edit your email or phone number field
3) Refresh the page

It is important that you follow these 3 steps and see if the field is saved since the data in the fields is saved only after the email or phone field is edited or filled.
You could also give me a link to your checkout and I could take a closer look in order to see it myself.

Thanks for the reply.
I now know what cause this problem.
The additional field is the last input field on the checkout page, and customers usually fill in this field after they fill in email or phone number field, and since the email or phone number field is not being change while or after the additional field is fill in, so the plugin will not save it.
I guess I will have to modify some code to trigger the save function when the additional field is changed.

Yes, that should be the reason.
You might try to move phone or email field at the end of the checkout form then you will for sure save all fields previously entered.

Just wanted to let you know that we have released 2.0.1 version and it now will capture the “Order comments” field as well as the other fields if a successful email or phone number will be provided beforehand.
