• Hi Joe, great plugin! I tested many of the functions, everything seems to work well! I need to migrate my maps to your plugin ?

Some things I found or would like to see:
    1. Icons for Markers: the Icon-database is extensive, but some Icons are missing that are important for maps, such as an icon for skiing for example. If possible, it would be great to be allowed to use my own svg icons some-how.
    2. Clustering: Some of the other plugins I tried offer a clustering option. That means when zooming out of a map icons are clustered to one icon and when zooming in they separate again. This would enhance your plugin signif-icantly!
    3. GPX Profiles. I think, it’s on your list already… GPX profiles are needed for all hikers out there.
    4. Adding pictures to markers works great and also the adding of pictures with geo information. However, when adding an upright picture (3:4 etc.) the image is cropped to a landscape format. I can live with that and I’m not sure if it worth changing it, just wanted to let you know.

    Thanks again

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for the feedback (and the review), I’m glad you like the plugin ?? In response to your suggestions:

    1. Icons for Markers: the Icon-database is extensive, but some Icons are missing that are important for maps, such as an icon for skiing for example. If possible, it would be great to be allowed to use my own svg icons some-how.

I too find the Icon library lacking at times and have considered adding other Icon libraries. I like your SVG idea and will look in to how difficult this would be.

    2. Clustering
    3. GPX Profiles.

These two are high up on my to-do list!

when adding an upright picture (3:4 etc.) the image is cropped to a landscape format.

I agree that there is room for improvement here. Just to note that the images are only cropped in the info window when viewing on the front-end, if you click on them then a larger, un-cropped version is displayed.

Thanks again for the suggestions. If you have any interest in testing upcoming versions of the plugin you can use this form and I can let you know via email of beta releases.

    Cheers,

    Joe
