additional “blank” page at end of PDF

We’re currently building a blog for a client of ours. It’s currently on a test server and I’ve just noticed something. The PDFs that DK plugin is producing, have a blank page at their end.
Now, I installed the plugin around a week or so ago and can’t say that I noticed these blank last pages then. But today the client wanted the post’s title (and date) in the header, so I’ve played around with the plugin’s settings and created an override template for just the header within my theme… It’s at this point that I noticed the blanks.
As I test I renamed my override template (so that it wouldn’t override) and unchecked the DK options to display the title and a logo graphic in the header. Being back a “square one” I was still seeing blank end pages, so have put my bespoke headers back in.
Question is – why the blank pages?
