Additional 3rd Option Request
-
Arf! Arf!
I review the Core Trac Timeline daily. Whether it is good for me or not, I update my installation of WordPress almost daily using the “Bleeding Edge Nightlies” option of this Plugin.
What I’ve noticed for months is that frequently, core developers will wait until the first hour of the NEXT DAY to input a “Changeset by Bumpbot” in the Timeline. This means that all of the changes made during any one day are NOT available to me until approximately 22:58 pm of the following day.
Can a 3rd Update Option named something like: “Most Current Bleeding Edge Update” be added to this plugin so gutsy end-users don’t have to wait 24 hours for the last update to roll over? You can add an additional warning disclaimer for the Administrator to read with a Skull & Crossbones icon beside it.
Seriously, sometimes Core Developers will spend 2-3 days adding, altering, amending, changing, etc. the Core and then “Bumpbot” will compress all of those scripts in the first hour of the 4th day. I bet there are other end users who would like to be able to update their installation of WordPress on an hourly basis, not just nightly.
