Thanks for your question and for the details on the plugin and function you have tried so far.

MLA provides all of the support you need to adds MIME types to your application without requiring any additional code or plugin. If you go to the Settings/Media Library Assistant Uploads tab you will see a table of the current MIME types and a form to add new types. If you scroll down to the “Search Known Types” button and click it you will get a searchable database of over 1,500 known types and file extensions; everything I could find.

The “File Extension and MIME Type Processing” section of the Documentation tab has more information on the MLA features and how to use them.

If there is a specific reason why the MLA support doesn’t work for your application, give me more details and I will work with you to find a solution. I will leave this topic unresolved until I hear back from you. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.

GREAT, one more reason to use your plugin
    Thanks

I’m “WP ADD MIME TYPES” plugin’s developer.

I fixed the compatibility of this plugin and “WP ADD MIME TYPES” plugin.
Actually, It was the issue regarding the multisite check function in my plugin.

Now, if you add the mime type using “WP ADD MIME TYPES” plugin, this plugin will display the additional mime type in the Custom tag in Upload.
