adding/removing images from gallery

  • I’m having a hard time figuring out how to master the image gallery feature. First question: How do I add an image to the gallery without first having to add it to the post and then remove it? Second, how can I remove an image from the Gallery without removing the image from the Media Library?

  • The image should appear in whatever gallery you are in (when uploading) automatically as soon as the upload completes. At least that’s the way it works on my install.

    Great question and I too am looking all over this site and the Internet for an answer. There should be a simple way to remove and image from a local gallery but not from the media library.

    Very stupid that there is not a “Remove” link in addition to the “Delete” link. (Or maybe I’m stupid for not seeing the function to do this???)
